Global Report Format
GRF (Global Report Format) is now a major concern for most airports. New SNOWTAM standard is now a reality in some parts of the world.
Using dedicated sensors specially designed to detect contaminant and temperature conditions, GRP can provide accurate information in real time while operations are going on the platform.
These sensors can easily be installed at key locations in the runways and taxiways pavement and connected to a GRP communication unit nearby that will report the information to the airport monitoring system and supply the sensor using the AGL power network as a backbone for communication.
FOD Prevention Bolts
FODs are a major concern in the vicinity of runways and on taxyways.
Using appropriate sensors, GRP has develop a solution to monitor airfield lighting equipment and prevent debris to appear before or as they are set loose.
Relevant information is taken from the the field and send back to the airport monitoring system using GRP field communication technology.
Bolts, inset lights, deep cans or signs can be monitored in real time, contributing to FOD prevention.
Field module for sensor integration.
GRP’s cutting edge powerline communication system brings intelligence to your airfield becoming a Smart Airfield thanks to its reliability and robustness:
- No minimum value if insulation required.
- Shielded and unshielded primary cable.
- No repeaters required.
- Fast messages interchange.
